Every now and then, I am called on to answer some questions about UFO and aliens for radio shows, magazines, newspapers, and educational facilities. Here is one of my latest sessions. 1. Where are UFOs most sighted? Although there are reports of UFOs worldwide, there are a few hotspots that seem to have more than their share. This varies from time to time, but the United States and Great Britain are the two countries that report more often, with Texas, California, Florida, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and New York being some of the American hotspots. 2. How often do people see UFOs? Not a day goes by that there are not reports of UFOs, although most of these could be explained as conventional craft if all the details were known. Of all UFO reports, approximately 5% remain unexplained. On an average, there is a “major” UFO sighting monthly. 3. How fast can UFOs fly? Although there is no known recording of the speed of a UFO, reports from pilots, policemen, etc., claim that they can go as fast as MACH 3. Recently, I was given a set of questions for a study on alien beings. I thought that our readers might also enjoy this. It is very basic, but gives those who are studying the alien phenomena for the first time a foundation to build on. 1. How are aliens related to humans? There is no indication that aliens are related to humans. However, many researchers believe that ancient aliens may have seeded earth, that is, left their offspring to evolve on earth and eventually lead to the race we now call human beings. Those who propose an “ancient astronaut” theory cite ancient cave drawings, rock carvings, etc. as proof of early alien intervention on earth. There is also the possibility that alien beings produced hybrid beings with earthlings. There is no way to prove nor debunk these theories at this time. 2. What do you think aliens look like? Although there are many theories about what aliens look like, I can only go by what has been reported by those who claim to have had actual sightings or close encounters with alien beings. The case that is often referenced for an alien description is the Betty and Barney Hill Abduction.…

Aliens: Why are They Here; What do They Want? Recently, I received a very interesting email from one of our readers. Here is what she asked me: As people around the world try to prove the existence of UFOs, I am curious about why creatures of other worlds want to find us. No one seems to address this question. We seem fixed on only seeking proof that UFOs exist and that we have been and are being visited. If any intelligence can travel great distances through space to find other worlds, they must have a reason. A Walk in the Woods A recent report of the sighting of three alien beings has been made to the MUFON organization. The event occurred on August 30, 2009, in a forest campsite in Georgia. A man and his wife were involved, with the wife having the clear view of the beings. She made the official report. On Sunday morning about 4:00 AM, the woman woke up, needing to go to the bathroom. They were not far from a park-provided facility with restrooms and showers. It was totally dark, except for the lights from the facility, and a lantern at the couple’s campsite. Introduction Earlier this year, we reported on a sighting near Temple, Texas, in which not only an unknown craft was seen landed, but we had eyewitness accounts of some type of beings around the craft. The details of the sighting were reported by a husband and wife who were traveling on Interstate 35. The wife got the first glimpse of the unknown object, which at first was traveling at a high rate of speed, then stopped in midair before landing in a field just off of the highway. After a door opened, three beings were seen to exit the craft, and soon they appeared to walk away from the craft. Although the three were not seen reentering the object, soon it rose up and sped away. The couple watched the object and beings for about three minutes. Introduction What would happen if we were contacted by an alien race? There has always been and continues to be conversation on UFO web sites, forums, blogs, and scientific/political circles about this far-reaching subject. It is certainly one that should be discussed; as such a disclosure would have a global impact on governments around the world, religions, stock markets, and most importantly you and me. What would happen depends on what type of contact is made; a verified signal from a distant location or an extemporaneous occurrence. A Distant Signal Let’s just theorize that we have a definitive, verified message from an alien race. It would probably come to the United States, right? Well, maybe, but maybe not. A message this important might be broadcast via some type of multi-language to all of the countries of the world simultaneously. We might think that the United Nations would be in charge of handling an announcement. This makes sense, but then again, they don’t represent all the peoples of the world. The Rumors There have been rumors and conspiracy theories for years that President Dwight Eisenhower met with alien visitors in 1954 in a hastily arranged trip. As the story goes, he was quickly called away from his scheduled routine to see an alien craft and its wreckage, and exchange pleasantries with beings from beyond the stars. The location for this alleged clandestine meeting was Edwards Air Force Base. The basis of this story was that during the week of February 17-24, when he was in Palm Springs, California, he did disappear on the evening of Saturday, February 20, 1954. When the press learned that Ike was not where he was scheduled to be, they demanded an explanation. When the press did not get their answer quick enough, rumors began to spread that the President was either very ill, or worse, had died.
